Measuring out guidelines for his design.
Measuring off the ideas of his skateboard design.
Joseff uses masking tape and newspaper to protect parts of the deck while painting one area.
Josef put down large sheets to brown paper to protect the floor and wall while using spray paint. The skate board is ready for its first coat of paint.
Applying the first color, many light coats of paint make for the smoothest paint.
Joseff spraying one of the color sections of his skateboard deck. He's masked off the other two color areas with newspaper and masking tape.
After the first three colors have been applied.
Joseff finds a large image of the Phillipine flag and isolates the sun to make a stencil.
Joseff then prints the sun image onto a full sheet of sticker paper on the office printer.
Using an x-acto knife, Joseff begins to cut out the sections of the stencil where he wants the paint to come through.
Cutting a stencil this detailed requires a lot of patience.
Joseff has applied the sun stencil to his skateboard deck and then applies the new color.
Here's what the sun looks like with the stencil removed.
The finished product!
